Macao Science Center Opens on Lunar New Year Holidays

In celebration of Chinese New Year, Macao Science Center will open on 28 January through 1 February and continue to serve as a family destination.

The Planetarium will offer 6 to 7 dome shows daily during Chinese New Year public holidays. Please visit our website at www.msc.org.mo for show schedule or follow our new WeChat subscription account (WeChat ID: mscmacao). This subscription account will replace the previous Wechat service account, “macaosciencescience”, and its function is more diversified. The Center will continue to send news on the latest shows and activities to our fans through this new account.

The gallery 9 at the Exhibition Center has re-opened with a new theme, Physics Mechanics. This gallery has a number of interactive exhibits that allow visitors to learn the basics of leverage, free fall, Newton’s laws and nuclear changes.

The Center will be closed on this Thursday, 26 January and Friday, 27 January (Lunar New Year’s Eve).
