Macao Science Center to Reopen on 29^th September

The Center will re-open to the public on Friday, 29^th September. As we are now striving to repair the aluminium cladding on the outside of the Center and the facilities that were damaged by typhoon Hato, visitors are advised to enter the Center through the temporary passageway and follow the instructions given by our staff on-site for safety reasons.

A slate of activities are ready to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holidays with the public. All visitors to the Exhibition Center and the first 30 Macao residents of each Dome Show at the Planetarium can enjoy free admission on 1^st October, National Day. Also, the Center will remain open on Thursday, 5^thOctober, the day after Mid-Autumn Festival.

“Think Brick – Play and Learn with LEGO® Education” activity which is on now at Gallery 2 of the Exhibition Center will be extended to 28^th February 2018. This activity enhances parent-child interaction through building bricks together, and it also helps children and youths to develop interest in learning a variety of scientific knowledge. The Planetarium will offer 3 to 4 additional dome shows from 1^st to 8^th October, including “Aurora: Lights of Wonder”, “The LEGO Movie The Experience” and “The Little Prince”.
