Considering that the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak situation has been eased and that primary schools have reopened, from June 1 onwards Macao Science Center (MSC) will adjust its opening days to five days a week (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays), and the Convention Center will also resume its venue rental service. During Dragon Boat Festival, on June 25, MSC will stay open.

  The new MSC Opening hours are 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. During the break (1 to 3 pm) the site will be cleaned and disinfected. Ticket sales start at 10 am every day. MSC Kids World, and the Fun Science and Children Science Galleries as well as Gallery 6 will be closed temporarily. Demonstrations, workshops, science dramas, and guided tours of drama will remain suspended and some exhibits may not be open. The Planetarium will only screen high definition dome 2D movies, and will be adopted the social distance seating mode (always an empty seat / row between viewers).   Before entering the MSC lobby to buy tickets, all visitors are required to wear a facemask, have a temperature check, complete a health declaration via the electronic system for “Macau health code”, and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to disinfect hands. If any visitor has fever or show any symptoms of suspected respiratory infection, MSC may refuse entry and request such person to seek at once medical assistance. We sincerely appreciate the public's understanding and cooperation on the above measures. We’d call on visitors to wear a facemask throughout the full visit and maintain strict personal hygiene at all times. Whenever in need, visitors can disinfect hands with alcohol-based sanitizer provided at the MSC entrance, in the exhibition galleries and at the gift shop.
