The Macao Science Center (MSC) will hold excellent exhibitions and performances from December 18, after the "Fun Science Carnival" in mid-November, to celebrate its 11th anniversary and Christmas together with citizens and tourists.

Sidelights of The MSC will organize the "2020 Macao Xmas Carnival with B.Duck" from December 24 to 27. Workshops for the population of science will be opened, besides game booths, must-visit sites, and live shows. Additionally, Santa Claus will surprisingly appear from time to time to have group photos with kids. B.Duck, enjoying popularity among both children and adults, will also appear to celebrate Christmas. You can obtain a ticket to the carnival at the MSC, after giving a like to the Facebook account of the MSC, sharing the specified post with the label, "I wanna join MSC Xmas Carnival", and getting two comments. Moreover, participants will receive a special gift by showing the ticket during the event. The gifts every day are limited. First come, first serve.

The Interschool "Scientific Quiz" Challenge will be held on December 19 at the MSC. This event will be organized by the MSC, co-organized by Exmoo News, and guided by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Association for Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau. The competition, on the theme of "Observe with Eyes, Think with Brain", is designated to raise interest in and understanding of science and mathematics of students in Macao. So far, over 20 schools have signed up. It is expected that the competition will be fierce. The "Macao Quarterly Competition" that will last for approximately three months will be launched soon after the Interschool "Scientific Quiz" Challenge. You can participate in this competition by answering questions online.

The Planetarium will introduce a new dome show, EXO: Are We Alone?, from December 18. The Exhibition Center will be open for free as always on December 19 and 20 (the day and next day of the anniversary). The first 30 Macao residents visiting each dome show of the Planetarium will receive a free ticket. From December 19, 2020 to January 2, 2021, the Planetarium will add dome shows from 11:00 in the morning.
