The Macao Science Center (MSC) will open again to the public from this Wednesday (18th) as the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Macao is improving. MSC will open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and continue the “Open Daily” arrangement during the summer vacation until the end of August.

In line with the pandemic prevention guidelines of the authorities, the maximum number of visitors to MSC Kids World, Fun Science Gallery and Children Science Gallery will be reduced by half. Demonstrations, workshops, science theater, theater tours, group booking services and Gallery 6 will remain closed. The Planetarium will show ultra-high-definition 2D dome shows, and audience will be seated at an appropriate distance from each other. In the meantime, to prevent visitors from gathering, MSC will implement crowd control measures in public area such as the Exhibition Center, the Planetarium and the Gift Shop. Visitors are advised to pay attention to the notices on site and follow the guidelines of the staff.

To ensure a hygienic environment, MSC always pays attention to cleaning and will fully disinfect all exhibits and equipment before reopening. All visitors are required to wear masks, take a temperature check, present a valid green Macao Health Code and disinfect their hands with the hand sanitizer before entering and purchasing tickets. Visitors with fever and suspected respiratory infections will be denied admission and advised to seek immediate medical attention. MSC appreciates visitors' understanding and cooperation with the above measures, and hopes that visitors can wear masks throughout their visits and be aware of personal hygiene at all times. Visitors can disinfect their hands with the hand sanitizer at the entrance of MSC, in the galleries and in the Gift Shop.
