Macao Science Center has prepared wonderful programs for the public to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 10 (Saturday) with their families and friends. From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. that night, an activity, Mid-Autumn Moon Admiration, will be held on the seawall outside the Center. Three astronomical telescopes will be set up for the public to enjoy the moon, and the Center will also arrange science commentators to popularize scientific knowledge related to the moon and set an astronomical game area for participants to learn about astronomy. Besides, participants will have the opportunity to receive a delicate gift. On that evening, young street performers of Macao will be present at the Center and bring the public a music performance, accompanying people to enjoy a fun mid-autumn night with music. The activities above are free of charge, and all ages are welcome to join in the festive atmosphere.

From now to July 17, Macao Science Center will hold a prize game called "Moon cake Puzzles" on its WeChat subscription account. Participants will have the chance to win fabulous gifts such as beautiful science popularization and education toys. From September 10 to 12, the Center will hold a "Mid-Autumn Craft Activity" in the Lobby Exhibition Ante-Gallery and the Lobby Exhibition Gallery. Visitors who follow the WeChat subscription account of Macao Science Center and share a picture or post related to the Center with their friends and show it to the staff at the Center's ticket office will receive a small craft kit or souvenir for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The gifts are limited. First come, first served.

To learn more about the impact of the Internet of Things on life and urban development, you can come to the "Science Drama: The World of 0 and 1" at the Nautical Science Gallery (Gallery 5 5) from September 11 to 12 at 3:00 p.m. to learn about the close relationship between binary, big data, IoT, AI and daily life through the lively drama of the performers. Visitors can watch the drama for free with the ticket to the Exhibition Center.

In addition, to celebrate the successful completion of the first mission of the Shenzhou XIV astronauts recently, visitors can enjoy a 20% discount on space ice cream at the Center's Gift Shop from September 10 to 12. The space ice cream is made using freeze-drying technology and vacuum-packed, and it does not need to be refrigerated. If you are interested, just try it.

In line with the anti-pandemic measures of the Macao SAR Government, all visitors are required to wear a mask, take a temperature check, scan the site QR code of MSC, and disinfect their hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer before entering. MSC appreciates visitors' understanding of and cooperation with the above measures and hopes that visitors will wear masks throughout the activities and be aware of personal hygiene at all times. If necessary, visitors can disinfect their hands with the alcohol-based hand sanitizers at the entrance, the galleries, and the Gift Shop of MSC.
