Macao Science Center Organizes Staff to Visit the Exhibition in Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China

More than 30 members of the Board of Directors and staff members of Macao Science Center visited the Exhibition in Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China held at the Atrium of the Exhibition Center. The interactive multimedia exhibitions help raise visitors' understanding of the drafting, promulgation, and implementation processes of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the contributions of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region to Macao's construction and development, and its significance.

Members of the Board of Directors thought that the exhibition is characterized by its diversified content and innovative form and can help strengthen adolescents' understanding of the Basic Law of Macao and their sense of national identity. They also hoped that, with the support of the motherland and the advantages brought by the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, they would continue to vigorously cooperate with the SAR Government in its education and youth policies and science popularization, strengthen cooperation with higher education institutions and state key laboratories. By doing so, they will enhance students' interest in and capabilities of learning natural science, help adolescents plan for their careers earlier and the new generation better integrate themselves into the national development, and cultivate more scientific and technological innovation talent for Macao.

Members of the Board of Directors attending the visit included President Mok Ian Ian, Vice-President and President of the Executive Committee Wong Ka Ki, Director, Executive Committee Member, and Curator Pan Sio, Director and Executive Committee Member U Hon Sang, and Directors Tam Kam Weng, Mak Pui In and Zheng Jiezhao.
