Macao Science Center is ready to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays with the public with a number of activities.
An outdoor moon-gazing event will be held at the waterfront outside the Planetarium between 8pm to 10pm on 27 September (Mid-Autumn Festival). Admission is free and all are welcome. For details, please follow us on facebook or Sina Weibo.
In celebration of the 66th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the Center is offering free admission to all visitors to the Exhibition Center and the first 30 Macao residents of each Dome Show at the Planetarium on 1 October (Thursday, National Day).
The “Impressions Printing” – Exhibition on Printing Technology now showing at Gallery 2 will step into its second phase on the same day, with an area designated to the History of Macao Printing Industry, showcasing over 20 significant local exhibits provided by the Macao SAR Government Printing Bureau, Macao Central Library, representatives of Macao Printing Industry and historians.
To accommodate for the increased need of dome shows during holidays, four more Dome Shows will be added to the Planetarium’s schedule on 27 and 28 September, and from 1 to 7 October. For details, please refer to the Center’s website at www.msc.org.mo.
