This exhibition will showcase over 100 interactive models and replicas of inventions and machines reconstructed by the expert artisans from Florence, Italy, including ancient weaponry, military accessories of the Roman army, ancient construction and surveying tools, besides maps and daily utensils. It will enable visitors to explore the military achievements, technologies and different lifestyles of the ancient Romans. With the latest display technologies such as 3D paintings, inverse perspective mapping, augmented reality and animation, the Center has created a number of interactive multimedia exhibits, one of which featuring augmented reality will bring visitors back to the Western Han Dynasty and the Roman Republic some 2,000 years ago, to learn about the characteristics of the two most powerful and influential states in ancient history.
